A scene with some of our characters, drawn by maxarkes [link] . Definitely like how this one came out.
After another easy win against increasingly burly challengers, inebriated onlookers ask themselves why they didn't find that girl a little more suspicious before betting their coin on the ogre. Blast that guy in goggles, he scammed us. And what is that blue girl anyway, you can't just have strength like that with tiny arms. The world is vast indeed...*back to drinking*
This scene shows some of our DnD characters in a sketchy tavern. The summoner Praetorius (the guy taking gold in glasses) decided to kill time by scamming people, as is his wont. He convinced Tysiphone to insult some of the patrons and have them settle it with an armwrestling contest - taking all bets of course. What the patrons didn't know was that Tysiphone is an upper class devil from Hell, contracted to serve the summoner Praetorius (helps to avert some suspicion by having her hide the wings). Money in the bank. The party healer, Lillia the white mage, is put out by their shenanigans. To be fair, this contest is less one-sided than another of Praetorius' more devious cons - a drinking contest. Not only are the infernal races unaffected by alcohol, many can literally consume unlimited amounts of food or drink (who knows where it goes). More information on characters in the campaign can be seen here [link] or in the gallery.
Great job!
